Music is amazing. Some of our most incredible
experiences have been through music. Playing music, listening to music, making
music...it is an integral part of human nature. Without music humanity would be
quite different - lacking an element of joy, an incentive for movement, an appreciation
of sound. Music stems from an amazing capability of the brain to utilize the elements
and laws of our physical world to produce vibrations in materials. The pleasure
that tones can bring enters the realm of chemistry within the brain - be it through
release of adrenaline, calming of the beast, or erotic stimulation. Music has
been used to proclaim the commencement and the victory of war. If the obsessions
of greed and anger that instigate battle can only be curbed to focus on the more
pleasing human senses, an enlightened human-kind will be using music as a means
to prevent war.
